Fashionclash show 5

Hello dear readers!
This year I went to the last two shows of fashion clash.
Me and my best friend Christel, from ittakes2tofashion, where invited to be present as press.

Show 5

I have to say, this was a really impressive start. The models where showed upside down. Wich reminded me of some of Marina abramovic early performances (with where repeated recently at Moma).
I did not like the clothing, it was dull, and couldn't compete with the amazing performance.

Even tough I do like the choice of fabrics, the pieces itself don't do it for me, they are a bit shapeless and just... well "seen that before".

I actually really liked this one, the fabrics where amazing, and she is certainly not shy ;)

This was one of my favorites, I loved the belt. And it is on sale, so maybe you'll see it on my blog soon (: But the fitting of the pieces isn't perfect yet, that still need some work.

I liked the theme and the fabrics, but why the hell where they carrying these instruments?

This one started promising and mysterious. But no, when it comes to mans fashion I really prefers simple and classic. This was just like... they where wearing ductape dresses.

This is one of the other favorites. Again I hated the mans clothing. But the girls were amazing! They looked like birds of paradise, the fabrics where perfectly combined. I was really really impressed.

The name immediately made me smile, and I kept smiling as soon as I saw the models. The designs where simple but really well done. Especially the sea green coat is on my wish list (:

This wad really perfectly done, the fabrics where good, but not very exiting. And all proportions where perfect.

Most photos are from Team Peter Stigter

Ps. Yes I'll post all of the DIY's a soon as they are finished!

  4. The upside down models is such an original idea! You're right though, it's a shame the clothing didn't quite match up xxx
